The Team
Our founders come from deep experience in media/entertainment, working with political leaders and nonprofits to make change.

Dori is a gritty and tested executive and leader with senior level positions held in both publicly traded media conglomerates and seed-stage start-ups. Named one of “the women who are leading the way in LA’s tech boom,” Dori’s career has consistently straddled entertainment, technology, politics and innovation. With a passion for activism and politics and a decades long history within the entertainment industry, she is able to merge the two in a powerful and meaningful way.
Most recently, she was co-founder of The Jane Club holding a variety of positions from CEO to Head of Political and Cultural Partnerships and Programming and now acts as a senior advisor. She lead the fundraising efforts and raised a seed round from both angel and institutional investors and continues to lead investor relations. As head of partnerships she was responsible for securing ~50% of total annual revenue and did so through relationships with Amazon, Peacock, Sony, Hulu, Chandon and more. She is a seasoned community builder and life-long connector.
Previously, Dori was the CEO and co-founder of Milk & Honey – an ecommerce platform in the customization space. Milk & Honey was part of LaunchPad LA’s fall '12 accelerator and raised funding from VCs including Tim Draper, 500 Startups, and Great Oaks. The company was featured multiple times in The New York Times, The Today Show, Good Morning America, InStyle and most fashion magazines. In July 2014, Milk & Honey was acquired by British brand, Upper Street.
Prior to that, Dori was Vice President, Production at Paramount Pictures - film projects ranged in budget from $40M - $170M and included helping to reboot the GI JOE title that grossed over $300M WW. She also worked to adapt The Last Airbender, directed by M. Night Shyamalan (WW box office $319M), The Fighter, starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale (WW box office of $129M), The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds (WW box office $168M). Prior to Paramount, she held positions at New Line, Miramax, and MTV.
She currently serves on the advisory council of The Brady Foundation with a focus on culture marketing and on the advisory council of Homeboy Industries where she is helping to launch their media division. She is also part of the leadership council for Vote Mama and a mentor at DemocraShe.

Matt has more than two decades of experience as a political strategist and government affairs advisor to Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, entertainment industry leaders and members of Congress.
Currently, Matt is a Senior Advisor for Culture Change to the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence and to the Biden-Harris campaign.
Matt has earned a reputation in two areas: for bringing people together and uniting around common causes and for delivering wins where others did not see a path to Victory.
Matt has worked with Altaba, Boeing, Brady, Brentwood School, Broadcom, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, the Spanos family, Politicon, Renewable Resources Group, multiple organizations that lead on issues related to the Middle East, 1P.org and many more.
As a speechwriter, Matt has worked with elected officials including then-Senator Joe Biden, NFL coaches, Academy Award-winning actors, motivational speakers and C-suite executives.
Matt also sits at the nexus of Washington, DC and the Hollywood community.
He runs the Working Group, which convenes entertainment industry leaders with the most well-known leaders in politics, news, governments and non-profits. This Group encourages action and involvement and counts close to 300 cultural leaders as members. The Working Group has been written about in The New Yorker, Politico, Deadline, and talked about on CNN.
Matt is also a frequent TV guest, appearing often on BBC, Spectrum1 News, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News as well as on podcasts and radio shows.
